Our work focuses on maintaining, restoring, and upgrading Beaulieu movie and cinema cameras, particularly Super 8 models, to ensure their functionality and longevity. We offer a specialized and unique service for owners of these cameras worldwide.
Service & repairs
We specialize in repairing both Super 8 and 16mm Beaulieu cameras. The work includes addressing various issues and maintenance tasks related to these cameras. We hold a large stock of spare parts for many of the Beaulieu cameras that we can use in the repair process.
For the correct function of your camera, it needs cleaning and maintenance. After several years, the grease and oil in the cameras can degrade, leading to mechanical issues. Therefore, one aspect of the service work involves thoroughly cleaning and servicing the camera's mechanisms. All settings will then be adjusted to factory specifications, lens and camera will be collimated, regarding back focus and infinity for perfect focusing.
Cost estimation and customized repairs
Each camera that comes to the workshop is individually checked, and customers always receive a cost estimate.
We believe in ensuring that customers do not pay more than necessary for the repairs!
OEM-parts
We carry original spare parts and accesories for your camera.
Filter replacement: In some Beaulieu models, like the Beaulieu 4008, the internal 85 Wratten filter may degrade over time and the filter is a very important part of the optical system. We can remove this filter and modify the housing for external filter use.
Battery replacement: We have produced new batteries with NiMh cells for the cameras to replace the original NiCad batteries, which have likely deteriorated over time.
Eyecup replacement: We are involved in the production of replacement eyecups, specifically the large black ones for Beaulieu 6008 and other models.
